Returns and refunds

What happens if a book arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what was described.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our books come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Goods must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for the purpose they are sold for.

If there is a major problem with a book — it is unsafe, significantly different from its description, or unusable — you can choose a refund or a replacement. For a minor problem, we will repair, replace or refund it.

You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Damaged in the post

Books are packed carefully, but parcels do get knocked about. If yours arrives damaged, email founder@hoplittlebunny.com within a reasonable time with a photo and your order email address.

We will sort it out — you will not be asked to post a damaged book back at your own expense.

Wrong item

If you receive the wrong book or the wrong number of books, email founder@hoplittlebunny.com and we will send the right ones and cover the postage both ways.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with, through Stripe. We cannot refund to a different card. Depending on your bank, it usually takes a few business days to appear.

Online checkout opens soon. Enquire by email.
